Bringing trust and auditability to AI agent spending
We're building the authorization infrastructure for the age of autonomous AI agents — so your systems can act decisively without sacrificing control.
Our mission
We believe autonomous AI agents will fundamentally transform how businesses operate — automating procurement, managing infrastructure, and making real-time decisions at machine speed.
But that autonomy comes with risk. Without proper guardrails, a single misconfigured agent can drain budgets, violate compliance requirements, or transact with unauthorized merchants before a human ever notices.
Paitify exists to solve that problem — giving teams the confidence to deploy AI agents at scale, knowing every spend decision is policy-enforced, audited, and reversible.
The problem we're solving
Traditional payment controls were designed for humans. AI agents operate differently.
Agents don't sleep
AI agents operate 24/7, across time zones, without the natural pauses humans have. They can accumulate spend faster than any human reviewer can track.
Prompts aren't policies
Hard-coding limits into agent prompts is fragile, hard to audit, and impossible to update without redeployment. You need policy-as-infrastructure.
Finance needs visibility
Finance teams and compliance officers need to know which agent spent what, where, when, and why — in a format they can query and audit.
How Paitify works
Three steps. Real-time enforcement. Complete auditability.
Define policies
Set granular spend rules per agent or company-wide — limits, MCC codes, velocity windows, merchant lists, business hours, and human approval thresholds.
Agents request authorization
Before any spend, your agent calls our /authorize endpoint. Paitify evaluates all applicable policies in real time and returns a signed JWT.
Payment layer verifies
Your payment processor verifies the JWT using our JWKS endpoint. No callback needed. The token is cryptographic proof of authorization.
